What Are Persona Templates?
A persona template is a pre-configured role for your AI Employee. It defines the employee's default instructions, which tools it can use, and how it approaches tasks. Think of it as a job description — it tells the AI Employee what its responsibilities are and what systems it has access to.
Choosing the right persona is the most important decision when creating a new AI Employee. It determines what the employee can do out of the box.

How to Choose the Right Template
Consider these questions when selecting a persona:
- What is the primary task you need help with? If it is processing sales orders, choose the Sales Representative. If it is answering customer questions, choose Customer Support.
- Who will interact with this employee? If it is your finance team, the Accountant persona speaks their language. If it is executives wanting dashboards, choose Business Director.
- Do you need a specialist or generalist? Specialists (Sales Rep, Accountant) are more focused and give better results within their domain. Generalists (Business Director, Store Manager) cover more ground but with less depth.
- How many employees do you plan to create? Many businesses start with one generalist (Business Director or Store Manager) and add specialists as their needs become clear.
Can I Change the Persona Later?
The persona template sets the initial configuration, but you can customize everything after creation. You can enable or disable individual tools, edit the instructions, and adjust the behavior — effectively transforming the persona to match your exact needs.
